So, as some of you may know, one of my two cd books is MIA and most if the cd's, I mean, it sucks that they're missing, but I can live without them. My Marianas Trench cd, however, I need back. I was missing it enough as it was, but then I went on their myspace and listened to a bunch of the songs of that album, and now I miss it so much I want to cry. It was an awesome album. I started off knowing two songs on the album, one of which remains to this day one of my favourite songs, and ended up falling in love with every single song on it.
You can tell it's a good album when the song(s) you love before you get it become your least favourite because you love everything else so much.
ANYWAY, someone actually owes me a cd right now, because I won a bet, so maybe I will suggest this cd to him.
I have been tempted so many times already to just buy myself another copy, but I'm still a little hopeful that it'll turn up.
Oh well, maybe not.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Little sisters
2. Rolo ice cream
3. MySpace
4. Headphones
5. Laptops
6. Salt
Back soon I hope!

Day 11: What happened to day 8?
So it's been forever, but it doesn't really matter.
This is just a place for words when I have them.
The guy on the tv jut invited me to a party in his pants.
I'm tempted. ;-)
Je blague, mes amis.
Anyways, it's been fairly stressful around here lately.
What with culminatings and exam prep and work and whatnot.
Anywho,
j'adore le tai.
C'est tout.

The Bruises : Day 10
"My life reads like the classifieds."
I love this song a lot. It's actually very excellent, and if you haven't listened to it, you really should, because its fanatastic.
Today I will write a classified ad...selling me!
I know, not very original, but I'm bored and Katy is forcing me to write everyday now.
So here goes:
Cori Foster
Relatively new model,
average size,
good interior,
engine in excellent condition,
start can be stubborn.
Expected to stay in good condition for many years yet.
Breaks down at least once a month.
Most break downs can be remedied by chocolate, milk, music, or laughter.
Break downs most commonly caused by Rachel not answering her phone/her message mailbox being full so I can't leave her a message about my hair again, or problems related to man cars.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Notebooks
2. Funny television
3. My new niece (that Rachel would know about if her message inbox wasn't full).
4. Good books
5. Parents that are trying to do what's best for you even if they may not be right about what that is.
Goodnight Mes Cheries!
Je vous aime.

The Ice Pack : Day 9
It's been a few days. I have tried to write every day since the last post but have found myself coming up short on words. I have been thinking a lot about the people in my life and what they mean to me. I'd like to share some of the words i've come up with.
Mom:
I know we haven't spent much time together lately because we're both crazy busy, but I love the smile you get on your face when I walk in the door after school skating or work. It never ceases to be the best welcome a girl could ask for. You are always glad to see me, and it lights up my day.
Joy:
You may complain about the cold and about your situation and complications with the ex, but I couldn't be happier to walk with you every day, and once again improve our already insanely awesome friendship. I am spending more time with you than we had or a while, and I am so glad to have you back. We have our ups and downs, and baby right now we're on top of the world.
Katy:
Oh Katy, there will never be the right words for you. I really appreciate that you have been among the people there for me through all of my stupid boy-driven craziness. (Maybe Aunt Cory was right...I am boy crazy.) And even though you can yell the name out loud so lots of people hear you, you are still there to talk to and don't make fun of me when I say I miss seeing him everyday, even though it shouldn't matter. Thanks sweetie.
Rachel:
Firstly, your answering machine is my new best friend. We talk about everything: boys, hair, clothes, make-up, tests, school. You name it; I've talked to your machine about it. The rare occasions that you do answer your phone, however, we have lovely conversations about everything that matters.
Stephen:
Even though you are in Italy right now, I miss you very much and hate it when we fight, but when we get along, it is the best of times. Thanks for being there for me big brother, and not letting the crap I get you involved with turn you against me. Family is forever whether you want it or not, so let's make the best of it, right?
Jeffrey:
Oh musical mini-me, I am getting to know my dear growing teenager-ing cousin more and more each day and I am taken back to the days when I was your idol. I love how much we have in common and I look forward to spending more time with you and love the jokes we share. Can't wait to get on your head those hurss.
So instead of things to be thankful for today, those are the people I am thankful for.

The Show : Day 7
Today we attended a lovely show by The Local Openers. (Well, actually it was a show by The Aggrolites, The Brains and Everybody Out, but The Local Openers...you know. Opened. =] ) The lovely Joy DiCarlo straightened my hair for me. It's very soft. =] It was a pretty decent show and a step up from their usual venue. (Oh, The Shadow...)
Alright, I need to get to bed soon. Today I am thankful for:
1. The Elephant Stomp
2. My Bestie --> Joy
3. Dollar store chocolate
4. Facebook birthday notifications
5. Cellphone cameras
Good night. (Sleep tight.)

The Notes: Day 6
Today was a day for notes! Note that my neck hurts right now, and Rachel is completely ignoring me. She is talking about brownies with her American roomies. I miss my big brother. :-( and other people. She's ignoring me again. That hoe-bag.
I am super thankful today for:
1. Dollar store chocolate
2. Pictures
3. Music
4. Cell phones
5. Brownies, or so it seems.
6. Random facebook notes.
I am definitely in love with the song Classifieds by The Academy Is...
I need to remember:
1. an envelope with $16 crack change for Alex M.
2. pants for hospitality class!
Rachel and I are discussing genes. Boob genes, to be specific.
It's great. I have a cardboard engagement ring! I stole it from a roll of dimes at work.
Anyways, i am obviously not thinking straight, so I'm done for today.

The Vote : Day 5
Today is the day of Canada's 40th federal election. Yay Canada! As Katy brought to my attention, IF the current government last at least 2 years, six months and 2 days, I can vote in the next election! (Very exciting, I know. However slim the chances are that the government will last that long.) The current standings are Liberal: 30, Conservative: 23, NDP: 8, Bloque Quebecois: 5, and 2 'other'. It keeps changing but I won't update every time it changes. That would be too much work. Now the Liberals are behind the Conservatives again. Okay, that's all the election talk for now. My computer is being deadly slow, and so I have to wait about five minutes after any time I type something. Today I am thankful for:
1. Democracy
2. Distance
3. Patience
4. Cute little kids
5. Alyssa, Nicole and Hayley
And today my one major feeling is ENVY! I am very much jealous of all of the lucky grade twelves that departed today for their Italy trip. I wish very much that I could be there, but I am not. Oh well, I hope that they enjoy it.
C'est tout pour aujoud'hui.
Bon soir!
